Business Description The firm was organized in 1975 by Ralph E. Wallingford and Philip D. Fox. Offices were initially located in the First City National Bank building in downtown Houston. The firm was relocated in 1981 to its present quarters at 24 Greenway Plaza. John E. McDonald joined the firm as a shareholder in 1982, and Mark E. Lund joined the firm as a manager in 1989, becoming a shareholder in 1992. In 1993, Elizabeth O. Bunk joined the firm and was admitted as shareholder in 2001. Upon Ralph E. Wallingford's retirement in 2001, Philip D. Fox was appointed managing officer.
Product Description Over half the firm's revenues have traditionally been derived from tax work, yet a substantial audit and accounting practice has been developed over the years. Consulting work done by the firm includes litigation support, business planning, and microcomputer consulting. The firm's clients include hospitals, group medical practices, construction companies, manufacturing companies, chemical companies, law firms, oil field service industries, not-for-profit organizations, estates, trusts, and individuals.
